New Park Manor & Bath House Spa, finalist for Small Hotel of the Year at the Toursim South East Awards 2008 Posted on 31/10/2008
We are delighted to be able to let you know that at the Gala Dinner held at the Wentworth Club on 28th October, New Park Manor were awarded Highly Commended in the Small Hotel of the Year category for the South East Tourism Area.
With a total of 15 Award categories, the Tourism ExSEllence Awards are the premier awards for the tourism industry in the South East and are managed by Tourism South East. They cover all kinds of tourism organizations, from small Bed and Breakfast businesses to large exclusive hotels and visitor experiences.
Judges looked for excellence, quality and innovation, covering all aspects of the business from customer service, sales & marketing, to training and development for staff. The judges in the Small Hotel category described New Park Manor as “A delightful high quality country house hotel in a rural setting with forest views, elegant country house sitting areas and restaurant and an excellent extensive modern spa.”
Says Leigh Jenkins from New Park Manor of the Award: “This is fantastic news; it will have a marked effect on staff morale and we are again delighted that our hard work and commitment has been recognised by a prestigious panel of judges”.
