New Park Manor is where the great outdoors comes inside. The forest comes right up to the edges of the grounds, bringing with it fallow deer, New Forest ponies, wild boar and spectacular seasonal foliage. You don't have to get out in the forest to enjoy it because you're already there, right in the heart of it. Whether you're sitting in the Rufus Lounge with your feet up in front of the log fire or reading outside on the lawn, there's always something to observe or enjoy. If you want to explore the forest further, leave your car keys behind and set out on foot or, better still, hire a bike. The hotel can pre-book bicycles at time of booking - just ask!
There are some great activities available to get your adrenalin going. There's a croquet lawn, a neighbouring polo ground, forest walks and, available locally, falconry, laser clay shooting, dune buggies, archery, wildlife observation, quad biking, treasure hunts, horse riding, golf (handicap), tutored fly fishing, motivational team games, hot air ballooning. There is much to see in and around the New Forest. The sailing and boating centres of Chichester and Lymington are very close by. |
